Thoughtful and Loving Care

At Carmel Hills, we provide care and encouragement to all of our residents seven days a week. It is very encouraging to remember that the Lord is with us as we seek to serve His people in the assisted living area. We care for the 31 residents in this portion of the facility 24-hours a day.
 

A note from Peter (mother lived at Carmel Hills in the Care Center) "Mother was given a wonderful welcome when she arrived at Carmel Hills and she was very quickly enjoying the activities.  She was with old friends and made a lot of new ones both at Carmel Hills and at the assembly.  Carmel Hills allowed Mother to enjoy her last years, surrounded by the Lord's people, who were so important to both Father and Mother."



Licensed by the State
Carmel Hills is licensed by the state of North Carolina as a "Continuing Care Retirement Community" (CCRC). The designation is very descriptive. We are a community of Christian people having common interests living together in a relaxed setting.



Services and Staffing

The Care Center offers comprehensive assistance with activities of daily living (ADL).  We provide specialized care in the following areas: dispensing medication, grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulating and dietary requirements.


The facility is staffed with sixteen nurses and caregivers. The food service team is a fully staffed team of seven.


The grounds and facilities are maintained by dedicated full-time maintenance personnel. The office staff of three is complimented by 2 part-time drivers.
